The past 12 months have marked an exciting period of change at Clickstop, with us expanding capabilities and creating new opportunities.

For the fifth year in a row, Clickstop has been recognized by the Corridor Business Journal (CBJ) on its list of fastest growing companies in the seven-county area that comprise the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor. This year, the company landed at #15 on the list with a growth of 85.1%.

Rankings are based on continued growth revenue over a three-year period. The company has placed in the top five for the last four years, with last year’s rank at #3. Clickstop is the only business to be named to the list for five consecutive years.

Company founder and CEO, Tim Guenther, his wife Nicole, and a group of 17 employees learned of the ranking during a breakfast and awards ceremony on May 21st at the Coralville Marriott. CBJ president and publisher John Lohman emceed the awards ceremony.

Guenther, who founded the company in 2005, selling ratchet straps and other cargo control products, credits a company culture of innovation and opportunity for his company’s success. In addition to its flagship site,, the company now also operates an additional ten web stores and has 69 employees.

The business has also recently expanded its operations to include the sewing and assembly of many of its US Cargo Control brand tie down products at its Urbana-based headquarters. In December of 2012, a 42,750-square foot warehouse addition was completed, and sewing machines and other equipment were purchased. The assembly department has been in operation since February, and plans are in place to expand the area further by the end of June.

“The past 12 months have marked an exciting period of change at Clickstop, with us expanding capabilities and creating new opportunities,” said Guenther. “It’s always an honor to be recognized by the CBJ for our growth, but this year it’s particularly satisfying considering the enormous changes we’ve been implementing.”

Clickstop will again be recognized by the CBJ in June, when the publication announces its ranked list of the area’s coolest places to work.
