First-half 2013 sales of Cutler Bay screen enclosures and patio roofs are up for Venetian Builders, Inc., Miami, after its placement of a retail sales display in the Cutler Ridge Home Depot, Venetian President Chris Noe said today.
“We’ve seen an increase in queries about our products in Cutler Bay, and a good portion of that increase is through our Home Depot retail sales program there,” Noe said.
Venetian placed a custom-made retail sales display in the Cutler Ridge Home Depot late in 2012, Noe said. The builder fabricated and placed retail displays in 40 other Home Depot stores late in 2012 and the first half of 2013, Noe said. Nine of those stores have Miami addresses.
“Our sales are up in all areas,” Noe said, “with leads from our Home Depot displays almost equaling our consumer-direct inquiries.” The 150 percent increase so far in 2013 follows a 2012 performance that was 85 percent better than the previous year, Noe said.
Venetian Builders designs and installs aluminum additions and screen enclosures in Jupiter, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Miami, the Keys and all communities in between.
Venetian serves all neighborhoods in Cutler Bay, including Bel Aire, Cutler Ridge, Lakes by the Bay, Saga Bay and Whispering Pines.
“The Home Depot displays allow potential customers to visualize what we can do for them in the way of a solarium, patio roof or pool screen,” Noe said. “They see real-world materials, not just photos. The displays show how aluminum framing, wall and roof panels, windows, doors and screening all come together.”
When customers arrange for an at-home consultation, they see even more options in a mobile showroom, which an estimator brings to the curb, Noe said. The mobile showrooms are made of actual building components.
Homeowners can request a meeting through Home Depots or directly through Venetian Builders.
Much of Cutler Bay has been rebuilt since Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Noe said. “But even newer, modern homes can use space designed for specific uses, and there’s no more economical way to add space than with aluminum framing because of the technology involved and the time saved,” Noe said.
Venetian builds not just to meet the Florida Building Code, but to exceed it, Noe said. The company is experienced at meeting the code’s toughest regulations, for high-wind areas such as along golf courses, parks, lakes, ponds, inlets and canals. Its heavier-gauge framing adds strength to swimming pool enclosures, Noe added.
Venetian also custom-designs screen patio enclosures that can convert to economically to sunrooms when the homeowner's budget allows, Noe said.
At-home consultations are free, as are estimates, which are written and detailed.
