As this year’s Silicon Beach Fest draws near, Illuminode, an LA-based company that provides LED technology, is proud to sponsor The Silicon Beach Fest Friday Night Party. The mixer kicks off at 8 p.m., June 21, at Cross Campus, located on 820 Broadway in Santa Monica, Calif.
Attendees can experience a vibrant blend of technology and art at the gathering that caps off the Silicon Beach Fest, part of a near week of Los Angeles tech functions including ones devoted to the new, tech-art phenomenon.
Illuminode will provide interactive wearables to attendees while they take in art by Annie Terrazzo, Betsy Enzensberger, Gil Nevo, Johnie Thorton, Leif Mcginnis, Matt Elson, Matt Pinner, and Two Bit Curcus, while listening to the sounds of DJ Dayhota.
Illuminode is also honored to join Create:Fixate, an organizer of the event, that has now completed a decade of serving the emerging art and music community of Los Angeles.
As part of Create:Fixate’s community outreach efforts, the organization continues to empower youth through arts with its Young Creatives Art Program. Currently, Create:Fixate has been working with the South Central organization, A Place Called Home, throughout 2013.
The host of the event, Cross Campus, is a facility that parks creative ideas in its guests through its inspiring and comfortable atmosphere. In its workshop, aspiring entrepreneurs and budding artists come together to plant the seeds of Silicon Beach’s next, cutting-edge startup.
At the Silicon Beach Fest, attendees can enlighten themselves on the new phenomenon of art and technology at a handful of the week’s functions taking place. Among them are the "Fashion Startups and Social" gathering, the "Art Tech/Startups” panel, as well as the "Fashion Makes Content" event.
Los Angeles-based Illuminode provides interactive LED technology to cities, festivals, and other clients worldwide. Illuminode is leading the way in wearable LED lighting and delivering its groundbreaking technology to revolutionize the way people experience live events, view public structures and interact with the world.
