Los Angeles Architect, Moshiri Associates has been selected as an award recipient at the San Fernando Business Journal’s 2013 Commercial Real Estate Awards. This award honors the biggest, best and most notable commercial real estate projects and transactions throughout the region. Specifically, Moshiri Associates has received the Industrial Project of the Year Award for contributions to the Panavision building in Woodland Hills, California.
As one of the motion picture and television industry’s leading producers and suppliers of cameras and lenses, Panavision required a headquarters that could contains collaborative office space, research and development labs, manufacturing and testing facilities, shipping and receiving facilities, as well as a full movie theater, full service cafeteria, coffee bars and cafe, and retail store.
The team transformed 145,000 square feet of vacated warehouse into a thriving environment able to house all of Panavision’s unique needs and functions, and better foster collaboration, creativity and vitality. Moshiri Associates’ vision was to create a clean, modernist aesthetic that which could serve as a backdrop to Panavision’s remarkable collection of iconic and historic film industry memorabilia.
