Despite having the least number of days of all the months of the year, February turned out to be a stellar month for the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA), a leading industry-based portal that provides the WA community with comprehensive property market trends and other valuable information on real estate in Perth and other notable areas. The company reports that traffic volumes for February are up 30% compared to figures from the same period in 2012. This result illustrates the exceptional growth that REIWA has enjoyed over the past 12 months.
The current figures also display an improvement over REIWA's all-around records for January, specifically in visits and page views per day.
"Before you think that’s due to a better property market, our rival sites saw their traffic fall in Western Australia over the same period," shares REIWA's real estate experts. According to a Nielsen report on average daily unique browsers in Western Australia, Realestate.com.au (REA) fell by 1% while Domain.com.au crashed by 19%.
REIWA.com.au, which lists properties such as new homes and developments for sale, lease and rent, posted impressive traffic numbers with totals of 423,562 unique visitors, 1,119,001 visits, and 10,486,731 page views throughout the website. Mobile traffic now makes up 30% of all traffic.
Things are also looking up in terms of the conversions generated by REIWA Real estate email enquiries to agents amounted to 19,472 — the second highest result ever for the company, after January this year. There were 1.13 million property alerts sent (up 4% on January), and the conversion rate registered at 4.6%. Additionally, individuals, families, organisations, and real estate professionals alike got busy looking up properties this month as REIWA logged in 5.3 million property views and 64 million property-related searches.
There's also good news regarding REIWA's NPS or Net Promoter Score, the customer loyalty metric that is developed to measure client satisfaction with a single question. Since March 2012, the company's NPS has been consistently excellent; they have been receiving a score of +50 both to the public and to other real estate agents. For this month, REIWA's NPS is +48 to other agents and +51 to the public.
REIWA also announces that nominations are now open for its recently launched “Best in WA” campaign. This consumer marketing campaign aims to provide property searchers across Western Australia with unique home improvement ideas. REIWA member agents nominate property features from their listings on the company's website and Web visitors are invited to vote for their favourites to win a range of exciting prizes. The campaign is spread across different media platforms, with television advertisements set to appear soon and buses and billboards already out for the public to see.
