Effective testing and QA practices are critical to the success of any platform that incorporates multiple products and solutions.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2013
Increasingly, enterprises seek to deliver high quality software rapidly with minimal effort. However, effective testing and quality assurance (QA) practices are critical to the success of any platform that incorporates multiple products and solutions. On April 3, 2013, WSO2 will kick off a three-part webinar series that explores agile test practices and open source tools to optimize platform agility, performance and security. The webinars are:
- Testing in an Open Source Middleware Platform Space: The WSO2 Way: Wednesday, April 3, 2013
- Productivity Acceleration Tools for SOA Testers: Thursday, April 18, 2013
- WSO2 Test Automation Framework: Approach and Adoption: Wednesday, April 24, 2013
Each session will run from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. To learn more and register, visit http://wso2.com/landing/qa-and-automation-webinar-series.
April 3: Testing in an Open Source Middleware Platform Space: The WSO2 Way
Organizations strive to deliver high quality products within a short turnaround time. This webinar will examine how to adopt agile test practices and methods, as well as address various challenges in an open source context with WSO2 technology. The session also will dig into the value of a unique rotational model for testing, the different patterns of deployments required for middleware testing, and cloud testing requirements when hosting a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution. Webinar presenter Iranga Muthuthanthri is a WSO2 technical lead and member of the WSO2 QA technologies team. April 18: Productivity Acceleration Tools for SOA Testers
Today, service-oriented architecture (SOA) services are heavily reused and require thorough and rapid testing to ensure top performance and robust security. This webinar will explore how IT professionals can automate tasks, enabling them to focus on in-depth, exploratory testing. The session also will discuss useful tips for SOA testing and demonstrate the use of two popular SOA testing tools, Apache JMeter and SoapUI, to highlight important aspects of SOA performance and security testing. Jointly presenting the session will be two members of the WSO2 QA technologies management committee: Evanthika Amarasiri and Nirodha Gallage. Evanthika is a WSO2 technical lead, and Nirodha is a WSO2 senior software engineer. April 24: WSO2 Test Automation Framework: Approach and Adoption
Enterprises rely on test automation to enable rapid delivery and increase test efficiency. This webinar will introduce the WSO2 Test Automation Framework and examine how to integrate it with other frameworks, including various challenges and lesson learned. Finally, the webinar will cover how to use a test framework in an organization and demonstrate how IT professionals can write their first product and cloud integration tests. Joint presenters Krishantha Samaraweera and Dharshana Warusavitharana are experts in test automation. Krishantha is a WSO2 technical lead and a member of the WSO2 QA technologies management committee. Dharshana is a WSO2 software engineer on the WSO2 QA technologies team.
