We’ve had a great response from the industry to our COO Resource services and our M&A best practices content and are committed to creating and developing key management resources to help the advisor industry continue its evolution from practices to businesses.

PFI Advisors (“Pure Financial Independence”) announced today that the firm has been named a two-time Finalist in the prestigious wealthmanagement.com Industry Awards Program for 2018. The Awards Program recognizes firms that are contributing to advisor success in various categories critical to the management of their firms.

PFI Advisors newly launched “COO Resource” was named a finalist in the Non Custodial RIA Support Platforms, while PFI’s recently published white paper, “Becoming a Professional Buyer, Part 2” was recognized in the Succession/Ownership Transition Services category.

The COO Resource consulting service is designed to help RIAs identify and hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as onboard and assist that professional in his/her day-to-day management of the firm. Additional components of the offering include ongoing support via weekly calls and meetings with PFI Advisors to counsel on the specific nuances of the firm’s service model, compliance, HR, technology infrastructure, vendor evaluation and management, and more.

The report, “Becoming a Professional Buyer, Part 2 – Harnessing RIA M&A Strategies for Growth” takes a timely look at one of the most important strategies leading RIA firms are developing to take advantage of the macro changes in the wealth management industry today. The report profiles an additional 5 RIA serial acquirers, based on interviews with senior executives: Aspiriant, Beacon Pointe Wealth Advisors, EP Wealth Advisors, Mercer Advisors, and Parallel Advisors.

A judging panel of industry luminaries selected PFI Advisors among a number of companies as a Finalist in these two categories for, “innovation, creativity and new methods of deployment to facilitate advisor success.”

“We’ve had a great response from the industry to our COO Resource services and our M&A best practices content,” Sonnen said. “We are committed to creating and developing key management resources to help the advisor industry continue its evolution from practices to businesses. It is a true honor to be recognized by wealthmanagement.com as a leader in these areas and we look forward to the gala event in New York City in September where the industry will gather to celebrate the winners.”
