THAI NEW YEAR WATER FESTIVAL COMES TO DOWNTOWN FREDERICK!
1st Annual "Songkran" Thai New Year Water Festival comes to Downtown Frederick Carroll Creek on Father's Day June 16th.
The Asian American Center of Frederick is hosting the First Annual Thai New Year Water Festival "Songkran" in Downtown Frederick's Carroll Creek. The Ceremony and Festivities will be held along the Creek from 12:00PM to 6:00PM to Celebrate Thai New Year or "Songkran." The Songkran Celebration is dubbed the ultimate water fight but more importantly Songkran marks Thai New Year where the whole country will be celebrating days off work, time with family, trips to the temple, partying and water fights!
This will be the First Annual Thai New Year Water Festival and is an event you do not want to miss!
There will be a ton of festivities & activities for everyone. There will be fun Activities for you and your Family , Thai traditional performers, Thai boxing demonstrations, Thai traditional games, lotus flower demonstrations, food, art, vendors and more.
