The 2022 BMW i4 arrives this year as an all-electric luxury compact sports sedan with an impressive range of up to 300 miles and fast-charging capabilities. At a DC fast-charging station, the battery in the new 2022 BMW i4 can go from 10% to 80% in under 40 minutes—or add 90 miles of range per 10 minutes charging time. Two versions will be available at launch: BMW i4 eDrive40 and BMW i4 M50. The BMW i4 M50 has two electric motors, increased horsepower, swifter acceleration, and enthusiast design upgrades from the BMW M team.
The 2022 BMW iX is an all-new, all-electric luxury midsize crossover SUV with a competitive range of about 300 miles and a battery capacity of up to 113 kWh. The new BMW iX xDrive50 models use the power of dual electric motors to offer an output of 516 horsepower combined, plus the stability of standard electric all-wheel drive. In addition, owners will enjoy fast-charging convenience with about 75 miles of range per 10 minutes of DC fast charging time. A more powerful BMW iX M60 model is also on its way and will target a total output of over 600 horsepower.
