Block Buddy Announces End of Life for Original Mobile Application
The original Block Buddy mobile app will no longer be available for purchase or download after August 1st, 2019. Block Buddy will still be supported until December 31st, 2020.
CLEVELAND, July 31, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Scott Urigel and Jeff Molter, the owners and creators of Block Buddy, have announced that the original Block Buddy mobile app will no longer be available for purchase or download after August 1st, 2019. Block Buddy will still be supported until December 31st, 2020. For assistance regarding Block Buddy, please contact Block Buddy Technical Support.
In lieu of Block Buddy, users are encouraged to transition to Block Buddy Pro, the new version of the regional anesthesia education mobile app. For users that have already purchased Block Buddy, an upgrade promotion is available in the Block Buddy app until December 31st, 2019.
Block Buddy Pro is an interactive app focused on providing ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve block and Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) education to anesthesia providers. The app offers lessons, videos, an Rx guide, and additional resources to help anesthesia providers keep their skills sharp and provide the best care possible for their patients. New app features include:

About the Owners
Scott Urigel and Jeff Molter are highly skilled and respected anesthesia providers. Together they are co-owners of Western Reserve Anesthesia Education/Block Buddy, which provides both the Block Buddy Pro app and educational conferences for anesthesia providers and students. Both Scott and Jeff have received numerous awards and accolades for their service over the years. Most recently, Jeff received the 2019 Ohio CRNA of the Year Award in April.
