ChicExecs Announces Partnership With Nonprofit Grangou to Help Fund New Home for Haitian Children in Need
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) November 07, 2018 -- Public relations and retail strategy firm ChicExecs is giving back this holiday season with a new campaign to support Grangou, a Southern California-based nonprofit that helps Haitian children in need. Starting Nov. 1, the agency will donate 10 percent of divisional proceeds to help Grangou fund a permanent home for abandoned children in Haiti.
Grangou was founded in July of 2008 to raise awareness about the extreme difficulties of life in Haiti, and to help feed the hearts, minds and bodies of Haitians. Today, it operates Travay Bondye, a rental property that provides safety, shelter, meals and clean water to nearly 70 abandoned and at-risk children in Haiti.
As longtime supporters of Grangou, ChicExecs is dedicated to help fund the Travay Bondye project this holiday season and provide a permanent, safe shelter for Haitian children in need. To do so, ChicExecs will donate 10 percent of divisional proceeds starting in November to Grangou. The agency will continue to donate until Grangou has raised enough funds to purchase Travay Bondye.
Located in Port au Prince, Haiti, the Travay Bondye property includes six small houses, each with its own bathroom and shower. It also features a large yard, a basketball court, and a covered, multipurpose room for family-style meals and group meetings. According to Grangou, Travay Bondye is not only a property, but more importantly, a refuge where children can recover from the fear, pain and isolation caused by abandonment.
