Fun Group to implement enhanced safety standards for tours and restart operations on 1st July

TOKYO, July 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fun Group Inc. overseeing an entertainment business specialized in sightseeing tours, "Fun" (HQ: Shibuya-ku Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Kenji Miki; hereafter "Fun Group") hereby announces that it has implemented enhanced safety standards (Health and Safety Guidelines) for participants and in turn restarting its operations in Las Vegas as of 1st July.
Fun Group's operations to mitigate the risks from the COVID-19 pandemic have been developed based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local regulation and best practices of our partners and companies that we work with. As our responsibility as a tour operator, we will be thorough and meticulous in our approach to ensure safety and security whilst travelling in the "New normal". To protect both our employees and travelers, we will ensure to take great care in minimizing the risk, which reflect our core values around hospitality and community.
We will conduct our tours in line with our enhanced operational standards which apply to before, during and after each tour. We are developing and building our "Fun Quality" brand, which guide our endeavors to continue raising general hygiene standards. These include a thorough cleaning of our vehicles after each use as well as other procedures to minimize the risk in the communities we are involved in.
What we request from our customers:
1.) Taking your temperature
Please allow us to check your temperature at the start of the tour (if you have a temperature above 37.5° you will not be allowed to join the tour).
2.) Wearing a mask
Please wear a mask during the tour. If there are extreme temperatures / humidity on the day of the tour, or enough space can be secured between travelers outside, temporary removal of the mask is allowed.
3.) Social distancing
Please practice social distancing where feasible.
4.) Coughing and sneezing etiquette
Please use items such as masks, tissues and handkerchiefs to cover coughs / sneezes to protect your fellow travelers.
5.) Sterilization of hands and fingers
Please wash your hands with alcohol gel each time you board the vehicle after visiting a site.
6.) Sterilization of hands and fingers before eating
Please wash your hands with alcohol gel before you eat during the tour.
7.) Reporting when you feel unwell
If you do feel unwell during the tour, please let our tour guide know and we can provide guidance and support.
If the situation around the COVID-19 pandemic changes, Fun Group will take required action in line with guidance from the government and regulators and update the Health and Safety guidelines.
