Greenberg Traurig’s Natalie Carter Selected as Top 5 Rising Star in Law by WeAreTheCity
LONDON (PRWEB) July 12, 2019 -- Natalie Carter, associate in the London office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was selected as a Top 5 Rising Star in Law at the WeAreTheCity Awards.
The WeAreTheCity Rising Star Awards showcase the U.K. pipeline of junior women professionals and aim to create 100 female role models across different industries and professions in the U.K. Carter was recognised for her legal work and her contributions to improving diversity in the legal industry.
Carter is a member of the Real Estate Practice and handles high-profile commercial real estate transactions. She is also heavily involved in her community, assisting various charities and organisations that seek to improve diversity in the legal industry. Carter is the law director of Women in the City Afro-Caribbean Network (WCAN) and a mentor for the Legal Launch Pad programme run by the Black Lawyer’s Directory.
She is also a founding member of a number of initiatives aimed at increasing diversity, including the Junior Lawyers Division of the Black Solicitors Network and the Black Girls Book Club. Carter also designed and delivered the U.K.’s first full day legal conference for students from diverse backgrounds for Urban Lawyers.
