South Carolina (PRWEB) November 02, 2018 -- You may have heard the recent hype over Jeff Cook’s birthday “Pawty” when he sponsored 100 adoptions at the Charleston Animal Society. This included microchipping, spay or neuter, behavioral and health tests. Though it was first come first serve, Jeff makes a point to help his furry friends each month by sponsoring a pet through Jeff Cook Cares. This program sets aside 1% of every sale that comes through Jeff Cook Real Estate for donations to local sponsorships and charities. In fact, Jeff Cook Cares has donated over $257,377 in the past 2 years all thanks to families choosing to sell their home with Jeff Cook Real Estate.
For each community, Jeff Cook Real Estate serves: schools, bands, youth groups or teams can apply for donations and sponsorship aid in providing students with opportunities within their education system. This year, the Jeff Cook Real Estate Team has also partnered with Habitat For Humanity. While Jeff Cook Cares 1% For Good Program covers the cost of building a home, the team members spent organized build days actually building homes with their own hands for those in need.
Other large donations were given this year to various Children’s Hospitals of South Carolina. Jeff states, "I personally know the impact that these facilities make in the community. I want to give back to them and support their mission to have the best-trained doctors and caregivers working in the most technologically-advanced environment possible for children in need." Naturally, as his business expanded to Columbia and Greenville, he decided to add Palmetto Health Children's Hospital and Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital to his list of donations. This seasonal “Sell a Home. Save a Life.” initiative launched in late October as Jeff Cook Real Estate will donate fifty dollars of every home sold between October and December to these hospitals. This is Jeff’s way of giving to families who are faced with the same situation he and his wife encountered with their first born child.
