Servicon to Kick Off 50th Anniversary with Gala Highlighting Company History, Founder, and Key Contributors

Culver City, CA (PRWEB) July 19, 2023 -- As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Servicon, Southern California’s leading hospital environmental services (EVS) provider and commercial cleaning services company, is hosting a reception at the company’s corporate headquarters Friday, July 21, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for clients, community leaders, government officials, and the press.

Servicon’s entire executive team will attend the event featuring dinner, drinks, and a Frank Sinatra-era band crooning a playlist of some of Servicon founder Richard Mahdesian’s favorite tunes.

Highlights of the event include:

  • California State Assembly member and candidate for LA City Council Adrin Nazarian, who will deliver a proclamation to Servicon Board Chairman Michael Mahdesian from the State of California and the California Assembly commending him for his career of service to the country, to California, and the Armenian community.
  • Servicon president and CEO Laurie Sewell’s acceptance of the Bronze American Business “Stevie” Thought Leadership Award for her insights shared in such thought-provoking articles as Clean Business: The Risk Of Dismissing The Importance Of Clean and Creating An Environment Of Trust Within Your Business.
  • Marketing Manager Anthony “AJ” Calzada accepting the Bronze Digital Health Award for Website Responsiveness on behalf of Servicon and its marketing department from the Health Information Resource Center.
  • The unveiling of the much-anticipated mural commissioned by Servicon and painted by Stephanie Grigsby. The approximately 20-foot high by 75-foot long mural is located on the wall next to the main entrance of the company’s corporate offices in Culver City. It will provide all who enter “A Look at Servicon,” featuring elements of the company’s past and a vision of its future.
  • Special recognition of members of the 25+ year Servicon employee club who will receive special letterman jackets designed in honor of the company’s founder Richard Mahdesian, who was a football star and member of the USC Trojans.
  • A video look back at Servicon’s 50-year past and a vision video look towards the company’s future.
  • Speeches by Servicon executives, including Michael, Sewell, and Communications Manager Greg Mahdesian.

Proud Moments

More Fun to Come

Servicon’s 50th anniversary festivities will continue through the weekend with a two-day carnival for all the company’s employees and their families. The carnival will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 22 to 23, from noon to 4 p.m. PT at Servicon’s corporate headquarters. The event will feature games—including a management dunk tank—food, beverages, cotton candy, face painting, and other fun family-oriented activities. The event is free for all Servicon employees and their families, and the company is offering transportation assistance for those in need.
