SkySpark Everywhere addresses one of the key challenges in implementing next-generation IoT applications, which is the ability to distribute advanced analytics across multiple compute devices, from the edge to the cloud. It allows those devices to be connected in a unified, seamless distributed computing system that can scale to thousands of nodes, millions of points, and billions of data samples.
These new Automated Provisioning features, enhance the Automated Replication features of SkySpark Everywhere, which enable databases from distributed nodes to be automatically replicated to a central server or cloud platform for high-availability data access and backup.
SkySpark Software automatically analyzes equipment and smart device data to identify issues and faults, and opportunities for improved performance and operational savings. It can run on low-cost, embedded devices as small as a Raspberry Pi* Zero, as well as industrial PCs, Servers and in the Cloud. Data collection, analytics processing, visualization and reporting functions are executed locally in each node and results are combined into seamless views for owners and operators using a standard web browser. Secure inter-node communications is achieved using the SkyFoundry "Arcbeam" websocket-based, certificate-authenticated protocol.
