Callista Bowright is the pen name for both authors: Alicia Wright and Stella Bowling. “The Sixth of September” is based on their lives and how they met. Alicia Wright is the senior director of a large company, has five children, nine grandchildren and has been divorced for six years. Stella Bowling is a retired nurse who lives with her grandson that she has raised since she lost her daughter seven years ago.
