"555 Days of Prayer to Save America" Borrows Themes for "Great Wave Offering" Finale from the Time of the Exodus

The organizers of "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" are returning to the Exodus, of Moses, in order to produce pertinent, culturally appropriate themes for the "Great Wave Offering," the closing event of the 555-day-long prayer event, which will occur on its final day, September 11, 2014. The prayer initiative has reached day number 339, today. The current 100-day-long prayer segment, a prayer against the sins of The United States of America, has reached day number 84. On February 23, 2014, the next 100-day prayer, an outcry to God for the purification and restoration of The Church, will begin.
Said planner and frequent spokesman for the 555-day prayer event, Robert Berry, "Leviticus 23:9-11 says:" Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.""
Berry went on; "People in the United States of America have been blessed with this land! We are very prideful about that. But, do we, truly, honor God, the Father, for that blessing? Not generally, at present. Now, we will have cried out to God for 555 days! We expect Him to move. We are symbolically thanking Him for the blessing He began, in the U.S.A., and the harvest we will reap, in His power, as He moves, in answer to our prayers."
Plans also include participants eating a midday meal of the foods that God gave unto Israel, as Israel reached the "Promised Land," in Deuteronomy 8:8: "Wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey..."
Traditionally, a sheaf of barley is offered during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which falls after the Passover. Loaves of wheat bread are offered at Pentecost. Both of these are waved before The Lord as a wave-offering. Planners of "The Great Wave Offering have discussed a waving a sheaf of barley at sunrise, with Shofar (trumpet) calls, and, a waving of bread, with Shofar (trumpet) calls, at sunset. There is also a Shofar (trumpet call planned for prior to the midday start of the feast.
