“The King of Queens” Alum Leah Remini Reunites with Emmy Award-Winning Director Rob Schiller for TV Land’s “The Exes” Season Finale Airing Feb. 26, 2013
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 24, 2014 -- TV Land’s original hit comedy series, “The Exes,” reunites “The King of Queens” actress Leah Remini with Emmy Award-winning Hollywood Director Rob Schiller for the Season 3 finale that airs on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 (10/9c).
Leah Remini is best known for her role as Carrie Heffernan on the CBS hit sitcom The King of Queens from 1998 to 2007 where she worked closely with Rob Schiller, who directed 166 episodes over nine successful seasons. It’s no surprise that Schiller and Remini developed a long-standing professional relationship and both were delighted to be reunited for TV Land’s “The Exes.”

“The Exes” revolves around the unlikely trio of Phil (Faison), Haskell (Knight) and Stuart (Basche), three roommates and divorcés who have finally found bromance after initially being forced to live together by their divorce attorney and landlord, Holly (Johnston). Most recently, Leah Remini (“The King of Queens”) joined the sitcom in a recurring role, appearing in seven of the 10 episodes this season as Nicki, a tough talking, no-nonsense woman from Staten Island. After discovering that her husband had an affair, she retreats to Manhattan, seeking comfort from her brother Stuart and integrating herself into the lives of his friends.
“The Exes” is executive produced by Mark Reisman (“Frasier”), along with Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis (“Reba,” “Titus”), and Franco Bario is co-executive producer. Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox serve as executive producers for TV Land.
With an average 1.3 million viewers for Season 3, TV Land has renewed “The Exes,” for a 12-episode fourth season, that debuts this summer.
In addition to “The Exes,” Schiller is well known and respected for his talents directing and producing more than 250 episodes of sitcoms, including episodes of Melissa & Joey on ABC Family, Sullivan & Son on TBS, and Friends with Better Lives on CBS.
