“To Find A Monster” Offers Indiegogo Crowdfunding Film Fans an Invitation to Premier Screening
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 10, 2014 -- While The Bushmen Presents is preparing to begin production of “To Find A Monster”, the films Indiegogo fans are invited to see the full film in one of several cities where there will be premier screenings. Attendees will be able to mingle with the cast and crew, which includes some of today's hottest television and movie stars, like Alanna Ubach, Brandon Routh, Jason Mewes, and many more.
“The Film is based on the concept of the 80s feel-good films like ‘The Goonies’, ‘Stand By Me’ and ‘The Monster Squad’. These films invited us in and gave us a chance to feel like any of us, no matter where we started from, could be heroes and - at the same time - could connect us with our challenges and fears. These films were about the underdog overcoming despite the odds - yet the films were warm, inviting and family-friendly as well,” stated the films director, Joshua B. Porter.
“’To Find A Monster’ shows that growing up “geek” in the 80s was tough. After losing his Father, Lenny Thorpe might have never made it out alive, if it wasn’t for his heroically enduring Mother, and that Summer between Middle School and High School when he, along with his cohort in crime, Patrick Barry, set his sights on a little piece of history... they were going to be the youngest horror filmmakers ever!” Porter concluded.
Amongst the other actors who are expected to be at the premier is Alanna Ubach. Alanna is known for her roles in “Legally Blonde” as Serena and “Meet the Fockers” as Isabel Villalobos. She has provided voices for several characters in a number of animated television shows and movies including four characters in the Oscar-winning animated film “Rango”. Alanna is currently working with Scott Baio & Mark Curry on the Nick-at-Nite series “See Dad Run” as Amy Hobbs.
