Like a pub crawl for movie watching, Couch Fest is a traveling festival: moviegoers enjoy films shown in residents' living rooms, offices, and boats for 45-minute screenings, and then move to the next closest home-venue to see more.
This community-building event disguised as a film festival boasts a program of films to rival any world-class festival, including over 45 short films, presented in 6 programs throughout the day. Highlighted films include Drew Christie’s The Beast Inside; Sundance Audience Award nominee Cruising Electric; Sundance Jury Award nominee Life’s a Bitch; Maikaru, winner of the International Documentary Film Challenge; the Cannes Official Selection Tau Seru; and the Oscar-nominated Do I Have To Take Care of Everything?
