AbstoneLalley, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The fast growing, minority-owned legal and corporate consulting firm adds its fifth location to current offices in Chicago (its headquarters), New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

“The economic climate throughout Latin America has improved significantly in recent years and has continued to develop and grow at a steady pace. This consistent economic growth has piqued interest in the region from the international business community,” said Rodney L. Abstone-Carabajal, Majority Shareholder and Chief Executive Officer - South America of AbstoneLalley, Inc. “Global industries, such as finance, energy and mining, healthcare, telecommunications, and international trade, are paramount to the Latin American economies. For law firms looking to meet their clients’ growing needs and compete for business on a global scale, Latin America is an extremely attractive market.”

“Several of our clients such as Baker McKenzie, DLA Piper, Dentons, Skadden, and White & Case, have had thriving offices in South America for many years. My company will concentrate its efforts on bringing other large U.S. and European firms to the Latin America market by identifying merger and acquisition opportunities with already existing, Latin America-based law firms,” added Abstone-Carabajal.

Abstone-Carabajal recently relocated to South America to lead the company’s latest endeavor and to build a team of consultants for its Buenos Aires office. As Mr. Abstone-Carbajal focuses on developing the company’s presence in South America, AbstoneLalley’s Managing Shareholder and Chief Executive Officer – North America, Sara E. DeNio will lead the company’s operations in the United States.

“Over the past six years, AbstoneLalley has grown from a small, start-up to a nationally-recognized legal and corporate consulting firm,” said DeNio. “We have developed strong relationships with some of the nation’s leading law firms, and we remain focused on growing our presence in the United States. With the demand for lawyers projected to grow (10% for the next several years, according to some sources) to support expanding global economies, we continue to add talent to our team to best meet the needs of our clients throughout the U.S.”
