Explore Talent Reveals New Article, "'Jersey Shore' No More!" According to MTV, the series will not be renewed.

Explore Talent revealed a new article today, called "Jersey Shore No More." According to MTV, the series will not be returning to the cable network.

The sixth season of "Jersey Shore" will be the last one, according to a statement released by MTV on August 30th. Since the show premiered in December of 2009, the six cast mates, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 24, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, 30, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, 26, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, 32, Vinny Guadagnino, 24, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, 25, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 26, and Deena Nicole Cortese, 25, have become household names due to their partying, drinking, and non-stop silliness. They have filmed in various locations, such as Seaside Heights, New Jersey, Miami, and Florence, Italy.

Die-hard fans don't have to say goodbye to their favorites though, because many of them are still on TV. Snooki and JWoow have their own reality show on MTV, "Snookie & JWoww," and Pauly is documenting his DJ career in "The Pauly D Project," also on MTV.

Even though they will no longer be filming "Jersey Shore" the cast mates are all busy with other projects and events in their lives. The most exciting by far, is Nicole's delivery of a baby boy, Lorenzo, with her fiance, Jionni LaValle. Vinny wrote a book, "Control The Crazy: My Plan To Stop Stressing, Avoid Drama, and Maintain Inner Cool," and starred on two episodes of the CW's "90210." Mike competed on "Dancing With the Stars." Ronnie was a spokesman for Xenadrine, and started Jersey Laundry, a line of T'shirts. Dena put out haircare products, titled Wisper Products; and Sammi put out a perfume, Dangerous.
