Earlier on, he worked in station sales and management for WTKR-TV, Norfolk, VA, WTVJ, Miami FL, NBC Stations Div., NY, NY and Petry Television NY, NY. He started his career at ESPN in 1981. Andrew graduated from the University of Maryland and has an MBA from St. John's University, Queens, New York. He is also a board member of the International Radio & Television Society (IRTS).
