Alliance Enterprises and Libera Seek to Consolidate Software Platforms and Professional Services for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Agencies

(Libera) have realized significant progress toward consolidating onto a common software platform and expanding a suite of professional platinum services. The consolidated platform will better serve the technology and compliance needs of state agency clients. Two-thirds of the nation’s 80 vocational rehabilitation (VR) service agencies currently use either Alliance or Libera software to manage caseloads.
By pursuing partnership over competition, the two market leaders have combined forces to focus on upgrading technology solutions for VR. Specifically, the companies are moving to respond to significant regulatory changes stemming from the Workforce and Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA). They are currently consolidating their joint customers onto a single WIOA-compliant platform - Aware.

Twenty VR agencies are currently in the process of planning and migrating to the Aware platform.
