Every company can find 'rubies in the orchard,' elements of intrinsic value that consumers will desire.

Military support nonprofit Soldiers' Angels salutes Lynda Resnick , the marketing genius behind such mega-names as POM Wonderful, FIJI Water, and The Franklin Mint. In 2008, Lynda set up the NBC/Teleflora America's Favorite Mom contest, resulting in the crowning of Soldiers' Angels founder Patti Patton-Bader as "America's Favorite Mom." Now Lynda has a new book outlining her systematic approach to marketing success that can be applied to companies large and small.

In Rubies in the Orchard, Lynda shares her secrets for developing and selling iconic brands. She believes, "Every company can find 'rubies in the orchard,' elements of intrinsic value that consumers will desire." Through behind-the-scenes narratives, she shows how to uncover the rubies and honestly communicate the value to consumers. For the first time, she shares marketing tales from her own life and reveals her commonsense but wildly successful methods for breaking into the marketplace and creating brands with true staying power. In this time of financial challenge, Lynda wrote Rubies in the Orchard to help businesses make the most of their marketing efforts.

Patti had the honor of meeting Lynda in New York last year as part of her "prize package" for America's Favorite Mom and is proud to help shine some light on this remarkable woman and her ideas that can help anyone who wants to build a successful business. Rubies in the Orchard is available for preorder at bookstores across the country, and will be available for purchase beginning February 14, 2009.
