Announcement of Resignation - Amy Fazio, Chief Executive Officer at ACI (Affordable Comfort, Inc.)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- The ACI (Affordable Comfort, Inc.) Board of Directors announced the resignation of their CEO Amy Fazio, effective June 30, 2013. Fazio joined ACI in February of 2010 and has successfully led the organization through a time when the industry faced several significant challenges, including the end of ARRA funding, a damaged economy, and the recent sequestration.
“We are thankful for Amy’s leadership over the past three years during which time ACI has undergone a number of changes to encourage and facilitate industry growth while also achieving financial security for the organization,” said the Chair of ACI’s Board of Directors Keith Aldridge. “We approach this change in ACI leadership with optimism and know it will foster new relationships, ideas, and opportunities for the continued success of this professional association.”
The board of directors is currently conducting a search for an interim executive director to replace Ms. Fazio. In the meantime, ACI’s current Director of Marketing Rebecca Sentner and current Director of Programs Nate Natale are serving as acting co-executive directors.
