Artemis, the leading enterprise Cultivation Management Platform (CMP), today announced its official state approved integration with Metrc for California’s recreational cannabis market. Metrc is California’s chosen track-and-trace system for commercial cannabis cultivation and is used by growers and regulators to report on plant and plant batch inventory and sales.

Artemis provides a Cultivation Management Platform (CMP) that enables enterprise specialty crop operations to drive efficiency, profits, and growth while ensuring security and regulatory compliance. The platform integrates easily with software for climate control, ERP, and Point of Sale Commerce. This year more than 1 billion pounds of product have been harvested using Artemis.

Artemis’ capabilities for traceability, task management, and regulatory compliance during cultivation combined with Metrc’s plant and plant batch tracking provides commercial cannabis operations in California with the most comprehensive, state approved seed-to-sale solution. Through this integration, growers will have traceability throughout cultivation, including when plants and plant batches are started, moved, harvested, or destroyed. Now, growers also have access to a complete worker management solution and can track and forecast labor needs using Artemis.

“Our view has always been that the more actionable data a commercial operation is armed with, the smarter steps it can take to reduce risk and increase profits,” said Allison Kopf, CEO of Artemis. “We designed our Cultivation Management Platform to easily integrate with other systems like Metrc with an eye on filling a critical data gap for traceability during cultivation. This integration with Metrc advances our shared vision to provide growers with true seed-to-sale traceability.”

Artemis' Metrc integration will soon be certified in other states. For more information on this integration and how commercial cannabis operations can benefit from the combined power of Artemis and Metrc, visit the Artemis website or read its latest blog post.
