Heritage Woods of Batavia, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting an Art Insights with the Art Institute program at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.
The community, which is located at 1079 E. Wilson St. in Batavia, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"The program will provide an enlightening educational experience," says Jennifer Hanke, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Batavia. "Images from the Art Institute of Chicago will be projected onto a large screen and be studied and discussed."
The program is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

Each of the private apartments at Heritage Woods features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, and an emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24-hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in social and educational activities such as the Art Insights program" says Hanke.
Heritage Woods is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and was recently recognized for receiving a deficiency-free survey from the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, the agency that regulates Supportive Living communities.
