AEi's CMAT flexible automation system uses machine vision to actively align a lens assembly in X, Y, Z and across the corners in pitch and roll, achieving an even focus across its focal plane. The CMAT station achieves camera module alignment, assembly and test production rates that are 500 to 1000 percent faster than using manual methods. Using the remote support capabilities based on Virtual Network Computing (VNC) technology, AEi supports customer installations around the world with services ranging from routine diagnostics to process refinement and faultfinding.
