The awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network.
"Today the success of innovative applications over the Internet such as unified communications, VoIP, IPTV and online gaming is predicated on a different network management paradigm," said Alan Black, President and CEO of Intelliden. "This 'Network Management 2.0' paradigm involves greater standardization, automation and intelligence of the network. Glen and the development team at Intelliden remain committed to transforming the management of networks to better harness the Internet as a platform for connectivity, communications and collaboration."
Intelliden was founded in 2000 to enable network-driven organizations to better control, manage and scale their mission critical networks. The company has assembled a high degree of networking knowledge and expertise resulting in 35 granted and pending patents, and innovative products such as Intelliden R-Series® 5.0 and Policy Based Compliance Management (PBCM).
"I am honored to receive this prestigious industry award because it further validates our paradigm and shines a spotlight on the significance of Intelliden's work in standardizing and automating IP networks," said Glen Tindal, Co-Founder and CTO of Intelliden.
Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company, Best Executive and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.
Intelliden's Policy Based Compliance Management application, which fulfills the total network compliance requirements of 'network-driven' organizations, also placed as a finalist in the 2008 American Business Awards' "Best New Product or Service – Computer Software."
