Balluff's Will Healy III Is Keynote Speaker at the Metal Stamping Technology and Tool & Die Conference
Florence, KY (PRWEB) November 29, 2016 -- Will Healy III, Strategic Marketing Manager of Welding & Stamping for Balluff Inc. will be one of the keynote speakers at the first Metal Stamping Technology and Tool & Die Conference taking place December 6-7, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois.
This inaugural event, hosted by The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and MetalForming magazine, will offer industry-leading intelligence to professionals from both the metal stamping and tool & die communities. The event includes two keynote presentations, 14 technical tracks, exhibits by industry-leading suppliers and networking opportunities.
Healy's keynote speech, titled "Why Metal Fabricators Should Be Paying Attention to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) & Industry 4.0" takes place on December 7th from 8:30-9:30am.
"Among metal fabricators across the country, there is a slow movement toward Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)," Healy states. "This keynote presentation will share some of the immediate benefits metalformers are already experiencing with only small changes to their equipment. It will break down the basics of IIoT and Industry 4.0, briefly review key supporting technologies, and discuss simple decisions companies can make today to start enabling flexible manufacturing and efficient production."
Will Healy III is the strategic marketing manager at Balluff Inc. located in Florence, KY, and is passionate about finding technologies that can make life easier for engineers, technicians and management. He loves to share with manufacturers, integrators, machine builders and students how new technologies can improve their competitive position in the global market. Will graduated from Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering and has been sharing his passion for automation for more than 10 years in a variety of industries including assembly, welding and stamping.
