Saylor’s Restaurant and Bar is hosting a tequila tasting and dinner on April 13.

Saylor’s Restaurant and Bar in Sausalito is hosting a tequila tasting and dinner on Saturday, April 13, at 6 p.m. Saylor’s is known throughout Marin for their delicious Mexican food and tequila bar. The tequila tasting will showcase Ocho Tequila.

Three Ocho Tequilas will be infused into and paired with a three-course dinner. The starter course is a house tequila cured salmon paired with Ocho Blanco. The entrée is a tequila-braised pork shank, mirepoix, and cilantro rice paired with Ocho Reposado. To finish up, the dessert is a house-made tequila flan paired with Ocho Anejo.

Ocho tequila is produced using old-fashioned methods by a third generation Tequilero. Ocho tequilas are fine quality tequilas with very distinct tastes and an accentuated agave flavor. Each of their tequilas can be savored much like wine, and is easy to drink.

Saylor’s is located at 2009 Bridgeway in Sausalito. The price of the tequila tasting and dinner is $37 per person including tax and tip. Reservations for the event are required and can be made by calling (415)332-1512.
