Beamz Interactive, Inc. (OTCQB: BZIC), a music product and technology company, announced today that it will release an enhanced version of its Beamz Player software on April 15th, 2013. This software release is an update for consumers to use with the Beamz Player model C4 product line and will include new recording capabilities and expanded support for Windows 8, specifically providing support for customers using multi-touch devices running a full version of the Windows 8 operating system.

Charles Mollo, Beamz CEO asserted, “When you see an install base of more than 60-million licenses four months into a new operating system’s life, you can be extremely confident it will continue to be embraced and adopted by the masses.” He further remarked, “Beamz is committed to keeping in step with the habits and technology preferences of our customer base.”

In addition to the Windows 8 platform expanded compatibility, the new Beamz Player software release will provide recording capabilities that improve ease-of-use for all of its customers, including customers using the Beamz on Windows 7, Vista and XP. The new recording capabilities will enable customers to:

  • Easily capture and auto-save their “performances” with the touch of a button on the Beamz Player model C4 laser controller; previous versions of the software required the user to manually save in the software dashboard
  • Auto-save Beamz recorded compositions to a users’ designated music folder
  • Listen and share recordings in a standard MP3 format for enjoyment with any digital music playback devices
