(PRWEB) July 13, 2016 -- The new app allows the user to collect serial number and asset tag data using bar code scanning, so users can match the numbers against a pre-populated list, and can efficiently conduct simple item counts and record descriptions. Using the data recorded, the app offers real-time information for first and final mile pick-ups and deliveries, so customers know exactly which of their products have reached their destination, when, and who signed for them. The app also emails the customer a receipt containing the asset list. Upon order close-out, the app downloads the captured information to the Total Trak OMS.
