Bill Howe Plumbing Chooses Grand Prize & Age Category Winners in Healthy Hearts Drawing Contest

The one-stop shop started with San Diego plumber, Bill Howe, and has grown over the past 30 years to over 130 employees in San Diego; plumbers, heating & air technicians and restoration & reconstruction specialists with support staff managing daily operations from their headquarters on Aero Drive. The family-owned and operated business continues its success through education and training, quality products and services, and dedication to community outreach.
The San Diego plumber has supported several charitable organizations throughout the history of the company, including the San Diego Burn Institute, San Diego Food Bank and the American Heart Association in San Diego (AHA). Their sponsorship of the AHA has been highly successful and the Bill Howe Family of Companies has been sponsoring the AHA since 2010.
As part of the AHA Sponsorship, the Bill Howe Family of Companies makes an annual donation of $25,000 and hosts a 3-month long drawing contest for children ages 5-12, the "Howe" Healthy is Your Heart Drawing Contest. The contest asks children to draw their idea of a healthy heart. In 2014, over 400 drawings were submitted from across the county and six winners were chosen in several different categories. The Grand Prize winner, Soliana, age 10 from Poway, CA received a $250 gift card to Toys R Us, and an invitation for her and her family to attend the AHA Heart Ball that will be held at the Hotel Del Coronado on Saturday, June 14. There were four additional age category winners and a “Facebook Favorite” and they each received a $100 Toys R Us gift card.
