Boise Idaho Real Estate continues to improve due to in-migration

Ada County (Boise, ID)noticed an increase of over 9 thousand new residents in 2011 according to the Idaho Transportation Department. In that same year, only 1270 building permits were pulled. The demand for living in Boise has grown over the last decade and as the economy improves more people are moving in. In 2012 ITD reported over 10k people moved in and building permits almost doubled.

This strong in-migration based on reports from ITD plus the lack of available homes for sale in Boise Idaho listed on Intermountin MLS has created a surge in new construction. In 2011, only 90 builders were in the marketplace and now it is over 200 builders, based on Build Idaho's review of building permits.

2013 looks to be another strong year according to Build Idaho. "There are 40 homes in the in the Boise Parade of Homes compared to just 16 in 2009," says Trey Langford, Founder of Build Idaho. In 2013 there are at least 5 major subdivisions expected to start development compared to zero over the last 4 years, excluding small in-fill projects.

Build Idaho is a comprehensive Idaho Real Estate resource with a comprehensive database of new construction reports and home buying information. A comprehensive database of new subdivisions listed by MLS Area includes lot sizes, prices and starting home values. Community profiles include community amenities and homes for sale and building lots in each community. A Home Builder Directory includes gallery of homes, profiles and video interviews with builders. As with any real estate website, home buyers can also search the Idaho MLS.
