The sanctification of spirit, soul and body – which is the springboard for ever-increasing love, light and liberty.

In Brad Price’s new bookWaiting on God” (published by Trafford Publishing), the author issues a call to Christians everywhere to let go of self-will and wait on God to fill and equip them to prevail doing his will.

“I have ready many Christian books that are both inspirational and practical like this one,” Price says, “but I have yet to come across one that deals exclusively with waiting for the Lord.”

An excerpt from “Waiting on God”:

“Waiting on God is an art that few Christians in our fast-food society seem to know much about. Yet Scripture is full of passages exhorting us to wait. What is it the Lord wants us to wait for? In a word, the leading, motivation, and direction of His Spirit. I wish to encourage every Christian to make it a holy habit to get alone with God, and wait: wait before the Lord until His Spirit beckons to launch out. By waiting we enter into His Strength, Counsel, and Will to the praise of His glorious Grace.”

In writing “Waiting for God,” Price expresses his hopes for all Christians. “I want readers to enter into Christian maturity,” he says. “The sanctification of spirit, soul and body – which is the springboard for ever-increasing love, light and liberty.”
