“It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Cable TV Pioneers and to be included with those who have built the cable industry into what it is today and will be tomorrow,” says Zamoiski.

John Zamoiski, Executive Vice President, Client Innovation at Brand Connections (http://www.brandconnections.com) was recognized by the Cable TV Pioneers for his contributions to the cable television industry on June 9 at the 47th annual Cable Pioneer banquet in Washington, D.C.
Since 1966, the Cable TV Pioneers have inducted people who have a minimum of 20 years of direct involvement in the cable industry and during those years have made a meaningful contribution to building the industry. In the almost 50 years since the organization was established, only approximately 500 people have been inducted, and Zamoiski is one of the only inductees who has never directly worked for a cable company, cable network or cable technology company.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Cable TV Pioneers and to be included with those who have built the cable industry into what it is today and will be tomorrow,” says Zamoiski. ”I have been very fortunate to work in an industry that I love for the past 30 plus years where I have had the opportunity to launch networks, promote programming and introduce groundbreaking services that have changed the way we engage with entertainment and each other.”
John began his career by hitting the road as a regional marketing director with Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey. There, he learned the time-tested techniques and art of field marketing and promotion at every level. He has taken that knowledge with him over an expansive career, where he founded Vertical Mix Marketing and Bottlerocket Marketing Group -- an award-winning agency that specializes in partnership marketing, promotional, social and event marketing with deep roots in the entertainment industry for such clients as AMC, HGTV, Turner Entertainment, A&E, Outdoor Channel, Spike, TVLand and Sprout. Bottlerocket was recently acquired by Brand Connections, where John currently oversees the subsidiary and works in developing marketing programs across the full spectrum of the Brand Connections client base. John is also a past Chairman of the Board of the Brand Activation Association and the founding Chairman of the Agency Council of CTAM.
