Otto J Placik, MD, FACS, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon of Breast Enlargement Chicago is pleased and excited to announce the recent release of the Practice’s new mobile application designed for plastic surgery patients following breast augmentation or implant surgery. This free mobile application titled the “Placik Protocol” is currently available in the App Store and is available for download for the iPhone, iPad and Android.
With thousands of successful breast augmentation surgeries performed throughout his career, Dr. Otto J. Placik brings his decades of plastic and cosmetic surgery experience to a mobile application that provides both visual instruction and guidance in performing post breast augmentation mammoplasty exercises. The Placik Protocol application offers a regiment that is divided into two phases, allowing users to adjust the settings with customizable features including the ability to change side of body (left, right or both), alarm sounds, frequency of exercise intervals, start / end times and start / end dates. The informational and engaging application offers both the ability to print instructions and to view helpful videos.
Phase 1 of the free downloadable application is designed to guide the patient through the initial recovery phases while also encouraging a wider range of motion exercises while minimizing spasm and discomfort, particularly for patients with implant placement under the muscle.
Phase 2 of the program offers exercises intended to promote the decent of high riding implants while reducing pain and stiffness. This phase of the instructional application can be used selectively on one side and may assist patients in lowering the degree of capsular contracture or implant firmness.
The Placik Protocol application offers a feature that enables the user to upload their own exercises with video and instructions if desired. Downloadable links and information is currently available at Breast Enlargement Chicago by visiting http://www.breastenlargementchicago.com.
