In 1986, Vigdis Eriksen founded Eriksen Translations Inc., working out of an artist’s loft in Brooklyn Heights with a handful of dedicated linguists. Still headquartered in the borough three decades later, the company provides language services across print, web, and multimedia to support the education, health care, and social service needs of the local community’s multilingual residents.

Eriksen’s 30th Anniversary Celebration will be held in the company’s Brooklyn Heights office starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 9th.
