Author's new book series pokes fun at politics and "woke" culture
CLARKSON, Mich., Aug. 16, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In "The Ancient City of USA," part one in the Standing Up for America series, author Mike Goyette brings a lighthearted approach to the cultural and political environment of today.
Goyette was inspired because of his concerns with the events that he has observed in politics and what he refers to as "the Left and the woke mob they command." He believes the United States' individual freedom and culture are under attack. The author wanted to give a warning message to readers that if the Left goes unchallenged, individual freedom will be eliminated.
"I am passionate about social issues and politics," Goyette said. "I made my book to give a better articulation to the current events that are happening. I believe there is hope and things can change."
Goyette wanted a different way to convey his view of the current political events, through the use of storytelling. Although humor is used in the book to bring levity to serious situations, the author has written suspenseful and thought-provoking tale to capture the reader's attention.
