Longtime childhood friends Phame and Hp had been writing rymes together and exploring hip hop music since the 4th grade. With the introduction of the third member "Thurro" in High School and Phame's first cousin Stillion, the group began to flourish.
Formely known as "First Life Longenvity" the Cartel Enterprise Name was not coined until the year 2002 when the company' CEO Phame decided to rename the label to something more suitable to the youngster's aspirations. A Cartel Enterprise is defined as " a combination of independent business organizations formed to regulate the pricing, production and marketing of goods or services to maximize profits. " and that is just what these young fellows intended on doing in all the years to come.
