Cato Research Presenting at iiBig Clinical Research Conference, Clinical Study Teamwork: Building Effective Partnerships
Durham, North Carolina (PRWEB) April 09, 2014 -- Experts from Cato Research will present and moderate panel discussions these two days at the iiBig Clinical Research Conference, “Clinical Study Teamwork: Building Effective Partnerships” in Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
Senior Clinical Strategy Scientist Lisa R. Sanders, Ph.D., R.A.C. at Cato Research, will present and lead a question and answer panel discussion on “Partnership Considerations for the Small Virtual Company”, in which the hurdles faced by small, virtual companies and their impact on outsourcing and partnerships will be discussed.
Dr. Sanders has more than 12 years' experience in clinical and basic research and 11 years’ experience in project and personnel management. As a Senior Clinical Strategy Scientist at Cato Research, Dr. Sanders’ responsibilities are wide ranging and include project management; clinical strategy, trial planning and management; regulatory strategy and submissions; and writing and reviewing regulatory, clinical, and scientific documents. She has overseen Phase 2 and 3 clinical projects, managed regulatory projects, and provided key input on product development plans. Dr. Sanders also oversees the Cato Research Fellows training program--a robust pharmaceutical development training program for scientists wanting to move to the clinical research and regulatory industry.
Anna McBride, M.B.A., B.S.N., Senior Clinical Research Manager at Cato Research will also moderate a panel discussion at iiBIG Clinical Research Conference titled, “Strategies for building an effective Partnership between Sponsor and CRO”.
Ms. McBride has more than 25 years’ experience in drug development and clinical operations. She is a pharmaceutical and biotechnology professional with experience managing project teams in strategic planning, tactical implementation, and change management initiatives for Fortune 500 companies to small pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Ms. McBride is experienced in managing sites, contract research organizations, and vendor contracts; directing Phases 1 through 4 clinical trial management programs; and developing and implementing clinical operations training.
