Ceramic, Tile, and Brick Manufacturer Implements Epicor 9 ERP for Improved Reporting and Operations
Chardon, Ohio (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- Today, e2b enterprise, a division of e2b teknologies, announced that a new customer, a ceramic, tile, and brick manufacturer, has selected Epicor 9 ERP to replace the company’s current ERP system for improved reporting and increased operational efficiencies.
Prior to making the decision to implement Epicor 9, the company’s ERP system consisted of financials using Platinum For Windows (PFW), a solution for which support will be discontinued at the end of March 2014; a custom manufacturing, warehousing and shipping system written in an outdated version of Microsoft Access for which external support which was becoming increasingly difficult to obtain; and a CRM system internally developed in Lotus notes. Besides the serious support issues and deadlines quickly approaching, integration between the Access system and PFW had to be continually maintained and data, which was stored in multiple databases, required duplicate data entry and severely hindered management’s reporting capabilities.
The company chose Epicor 9 ERP because the system easily replaced and their financial system and could be elegantly tailored to replace the Access and CRM systems completely. Epicor is a comprehensive solution with an embedded CRM system, a critical decision factor for the company and an element competing solutions were unable to provide. Additionally, Epicor’s unique dashboards will give management the real time reporting and cost analysis critical to fast and strategic decision making.
