CharityEngine Software Team to Co-present at the 9th Annual Bridge Conference With Wounded Warrior Project®’s Dana Bunke and Run/Walk Expert Sharon Kessler
McLean, Virginia (PRWEB) July 03, 2014 -- The team from donor management software suite CharityEngine will present two sessions on online fundraising at the 9th Annual Bridge to Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Conference July 9-10 at the Gaylord Hotel & Conference Center at National Harbor near Washington, DC.
The first session, “What Nonprofits can learn from how Gyms Get & Keep Their Members,” will feature Dana Bunke, direct response manager at Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) and Hossein Noshirvani, founder of gym management software & billing firm Motionsoft, highlighting lessons nonprofits can learn about building a sustainer program using examples of how health clubs engage members for long-term relationships. The presentation will show how many of these elements have been included in developing Wounded Warrior Project’s Advance Guard program. WWP is a CharityEngine client/partner.
In “The ABCs of Launching a Peer-to-Peer Based Run/Walk,” CharityEngine CEO Philip Schmitz will join Run/Walk expert Sharon Kessler, who has launched Run/Walks for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of NYC and Children’s National Health System (Children’s National) to discuss the soup-to-nuts of launching a peer-to-peer fundraising event as well as the technology available to implement success.

The second session, The ABCs of Launching a Peer-to-Peer Based Run/Walk or Bike Ride, will take place Friday, July 11 at 8am in Baltimore 3.
