Colorado Dental Arts Promotes Children’s Dental Health Month
(PRWEB) February 18, 2014 -- Littleton family and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Thomas R Froning is proud to announce his team will be visiting Jefferson County kindergarten classes to promote Children’s Dental Health Month. Dr. Froning is the founder of Colorado Dental Arts, located in Littleton, Colorado.
Colorado Dental Arts will educate children about the importance of daily care, proper brushing, flossing and routine visits to the dentist. Children will receive a toothbrush with a storage cap to keep in the classroom, so they can brush after lunch and snack time; it's also ideal for an overnight travel bag. They will also provide an Oral Care kit for each school's teacher’s lounge.
"We are excited to educate and serve our community throughout the year, and especially during Children’s Dental Health Month,” said Littleton general dentist, Dr. Thomas R. Froning. “Our focus at Colorado Dental Arts is on preventive care so it is critical to get our children and young families off to a good start by creating proper oral health care habits from the moment they first get their teeth."
Dr. Froning said most people are not aware how oral health impacts their overall health especially in terms of preventing heart disease and diabetes.
“We take our role in the community very seriously and so look at every opportunity to inform the public and to help people keep a healthy functional smile for life,” said Littleton family and general dentist, Dr. Thomas R Froning.
According to the ADA, children should schedule regular dental check-ups within six months of the first tooth’s appearance to uncover problems which can be easily detected and when damage is minimal.
Colorado Dental Arts is now offering a $99 New Patient Experience, which includes an exam, x-rays, and cleaning. Additionally, they recently contracted with Delta Dental of Colorado and are pleased to be able to honor the Jefferson County Teachers PPO Insurance Plan rates.
