Corepoint Health User Conference Keynote Presentation to Feature Disruptive Innovation and Human-Centered Design
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Business systems expert and health care change advocate Elizabeth Stefanski will speak about the importance of human-centered design on October 4 at Corepoint Connect 13, Corepoint Health’s user group conference. Corepoint Connect 13 will be held October 2-4 in Plano, Texas.
Stefanski is the chief market maker at the Business Innovation Factory in Providence, R.I., where she helps business leaders discover innovative ways to create change through disruptive business models. A majority of her work is focused in the Business Innovation Factory’s Patient Experience Lab, which explores how health care systems can move beyond sick care to a system focused on wellness.
“I have spent my career creating innovative platforms for social change, which is why I’m particularly excited about speaking to the health IT professionals at Corepoint Connect. There is more potential for social change on a large scale in health IT than probably any other industry,” Stefanski said. “I believe the world needs more ‘market makers’ and fewer ‘share takers,’ and health technology really has the potential to completely disrupt the status quo.”
Stefanski has worked and spoken in more than 20 countries. She currently lives in Providence, R.I.
