In just the first day of the Mac App Store, our Mac users increased by 25%.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 10, 2011 —
Inner Fence is now shipping Credit Card Terminal for Mac exclusively on the Mac App Store and will no longer distribute it directly to customers. The Mac App Store, released by Apple on January 6th, makes it simple to get apps on your Mac. Inner Fence already distributes its iPhone and iPad apps exclusively through the App Store.
“In just the first day of the Mac App Store, our Mac users increased by 25%,” said Derek Del Conte, CEO of Inner Fence. “The Mac App Store makes our app more discoverable not only to new users but also our existing iPhone customers.”
Credit Card Terminal makes it simple to process credit cards on your Mac. Merchants can key in cardholder information or swipe cards with the optional Credit Card Reader for Mac accessory.
Inner Fence is providing Credit Card Readers free of charge to new customers that activate a merchant account. Additional units are available at http://www.innerfence.com for $79.
Credit Card Reader for Mac is shipping now and joins the existing line of Inner Fence card readers, which include support for the iPhone 3G / 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPod touch (2nd / 3rd Gen.).
