Croatian American Women’s Club Charity Fashion Show Pledges Support to Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women & Children
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 10, 2013 -- The Croatian American Women’s Club (CAWC), a nonprofit organization that inspires Croatian-American women to enhance the lives of women and children in need in Southern California and around the globe, is pleased to announce its Fashion Show Charity Event, “Travel in Style”, which will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Pedro-Port of Los Angeles, 2800 Via Cabrillo Marina, San Pedro, California.
The Fashion Show will feature the latest trends in travel clothing and accessories presented by a southern California designer. Proceeds from the event will support Los Angeles’ Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women & Children, A Program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. In addition to an exclusive line of popular, chic fashions for women, the design company shares a similar mission of encouraging and empowering women in need through its own charitable foundation. Other fashions will include wedding gowns, vintage evening dresses, and attendees will enjoy a Holiday Boutique with vendors offering unique accessories and gift items.
“We’re very excited about the Fashion Show and look forward to enjoying the designs from this amazing collection,” said Maryann Zovak-Wieder, CAWC’s president. “It’s a great opportunity for everyone to come together to make new friends and make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.”
Tickets to the event (which include lunch) are $60 for adults and $30 for juniors (17 and under) and may be purchased directly from CAWC’s website.
